My First Demo Recordings

The tracks below are a selection of demos and recordings from some of the first music I composed between 1985 and 1995. Like many young musicians of that era, I was searching for a new sound—aiming to move away from the flashy decadence and superficial glam of the 1980s. Tired of the prevailing trends, I sought to create music with more depth and authenticity.

During my time in Trondheim from 1987 to 1995, I started several bands and dedicated myself to exploring this new musical direction. These demos capture that period of experimentation and the quest to find a deeper resonance in music. While some of these early tracks may reflect a raw and searching quality, they represent a personal journey toward a sound that was more meaningful to me and, eventually, to a broader audience as the musical landscape shifted in the early '90s.
